iMorasalat

iMorasalat is a simple, fast and secured mobile/tablet native application that lets the user act on information upon demand.  However, these actions include reviewing, commenting and approving tasks as well as browsing cabinets, folders and documents that live in the content server.  In addition, the application will communicate with specific workflows and object types defined by XEM Correspondence Management System (eMorasalat).  Moreover, Localization patterns are applied on iMorasalat in terms of labeling and alignment. This feature will give the user the ability to change the application’s interface into another language as well as changing the alignment (i.e. Right To Left). So far, there are two language packs, which are: English and Arabic.

The High-level objectives of the iMorasalat are listed as follows:
·         Provide a simple and fast interface through a native mobile application for the users of eMorasalat.
·         Allow multiple users to act remotely on different content types.
·         Give the user the ability to access the repository in an offline mode
·         Reduce quantity of hardcopy Correspondences and duplicated information across.
·         Ensure the information and intellectual property is retained and available for reuse.

While globalization, virtualization and automation continue to expand rapidly in most business processes, mobility has been considered as a required business need rather than preferred. It has been noticed that mobile application development is growing exponentially as a result of the faster processors, the expanded memory capacities and the higher network bandwidths. Therefore, massive data communication has been an easier functionality to implement.

Mobile applications have proven to be an efficient tool that guarantees saving both time and cost. Moreover, integrating such applications with an automated management system will add some values like mobility.
